From Chambers UK Guide 2006:
“This regional player has pushed forward in its development by merging with boutique firm Park Nelson. The combination builds on the strong reputation of both sides within the commercial property sector, and continues the firm’s efforts as a strong regional player with national niche practices. Competitors note that this strategy, along with a solid stable of clients, ensures that the firm is continuing to “make a name for itself within the South””
“This impressive firm acts on matters across the UK. The team can deliver a complete planning service, but has particular expertise in water-related development work. Its caseload comes from clients in the leisure, housing and industrial sectors as well as the public sector, including local authorities and Government agencies. The “dedicated and knowledgeable” Andrew Hignett heads the planning and environment unit and is considered “a friendly and personable lawyer.” He is “impressive in court, fighting hard for his clients.” Hignett brings an extra dimension to the practice having extensive experience in both the private and the public sectors.”
