We’re proud to welcome five new Graduate Solicitor Apprentices to Lester Aldridge, who began their journey this week in partnership with Bournemouth University. This is the first time the university has offered this route, and we’re delighted to be part of such a forward-thinking initiative.
The new apprentices — Kate Donovan, Elliott Baczala, Finlay Morrow, Aaron Dewar, and Hannah Feibusch — all previously worked at Lester Aldridge in paralegal roles. Their progression into the Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship reflects our commitment to supporting internal development and career growth.
The Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship combines in-person academic study with practical experience, giving aspiring solicitors the opportunity to earn while they learn and gain valuable insight into the profession. The academic element of the programme prepares them for the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQE), the central assessment for qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales.
At Lester Aldridge, we offer a diverse range of routes into legal qualification, including the traditional Training Contract, the Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship, and alternative professional pathways such as the CILEX route and qualifications for roles like Licensed Conveyancer. Each route is designed to support our people in developing their careers in a way that works best for them.
We’re excited to see our apprentices thrive and proud to be partnering with Bournemouth University to support the future of legal education.
