Employment & HR Immigration

We are pleased to continue delivering immigration and HR advice helplines for adult social care providers across the South East and West Midlands.

Working in partnership with the South East Social Care Alliance and West Midlands ADASS, we provide CQC‑registered adult social care organisations and local authorities with direct access to specialist legal support on international recruitment, sponsorship and compliance.

Through the helplines, care providers can access up to 30 minutes of advice from our business immigration specialists on issues such as Certificates of Sponsorship, sponsorship compliance, use of the Sponsorship Management System, workforce planning and HR considerations linked to employing sponsored workers. Our approach is grounded in providing clear, practical guidance that reflects the real pressures providers are facing in a highly regulated environment.

We have been trusted to deliver these helplines for over two years, supporting care organisations as immigration routes tighten and compliance scrutiny increases across the sector. Our reappointment reflects the confidence placed in our sector knowledge and our ability to provide timely, pragmatic advice when it is most needed.

Edward O’Brien, Senior Associate in our Business Immigration team, said:

“Care providers are operating in one of the most challenging sponsorship environments we have seen. With increasing compliance scrutiny and fewer routes available for international recruitment, it is essential that providers have access to clear, reliable advice. These helplines are designed to offer reassurance and practical support, helping organisations manage risk and make informed decisions. We are proud to continue working with SESCA and West Midlands ADASS to support the vital work the adult social care sector delivers.”

The South East helpline is available to CQC‑registered adult social care providers in the South East region only.
