As the top-ranking law firm in Dorset, Lester Aldridge has once again achieved excellent rankings in this year’s Chambers guide to leading lawyers.

Lester Aldridge has 15 lawyers named in the independent legal directory including rankings for partners Paula Barnes, Mark Benham, Grant Esterhuizen, Chris Evans, Laura Guntrip, Melia Hirst, Linda Jacques, Russell Kelly and Michael Veal, and a top tier ranking for insolvency partner Nick Keitley.

Partners Matthew Barrow and Roger Woolley have both been ranked as ‘Eminent Practitioners’ for Real Estate (The South).

James Pantling-Skeet in the Community Care team has been newly ranked as an ‘Associate to Watch’ in both Education: Individuals (UK-wide) and Healthcare: Regulatory (UK-wide).

Eight of the firm’s practice areas are ranked in the guide: Corporate/M&A, Employment, Family/Matrimonial, Healthcare, Litigation, Real Estate, Restructuring/Insolvency and Shipping.

The Corporate & Commercial team achieved a top tier ranking, with one impressed client stating: “Lester Aldridge were diligent, focused, timely and provided good support and guidance. They worked as a team and clearly navigated to the heart of the matter.”

A client of the Real Estate team commented: “They are always professional, thorough and competent. They have a depth of knowledge and experience across all aspects of commercial property law which provides a great deal of confidence.”

In addition, the firm was also ranked for Private Wealth in the Chambers HNW 2021 guide published earlier in the year. A source said: “They are excellent, they provide top advice and their speed of execution is second to none.”

Matthew Barrow, the Managing Partner, said: “I am very happy that Chambers have once again recommended LA in so many of our practice areas. The fact that it is based on in-depth client interviews is testament to the focus we put on excellent service and shows that we are leading the way in so many of our areas of legal expertise.”

Chambers & Partners independent research is conducted by 200 analysts, across 200 jurisdictions and provides nearly 6,000 rankings tables. Annually they collect hundreds of thousands of responses from clients, the majority via in-depth interviews.
