March marks Cerebral Palsy and Brain Injury Awareness Month, a time dedicated to increasing understanding of cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury and disability, and the impact these conditions have on individuals and their families.
As part of this year’s campaign, the Brain Injury Group has invited members to take part in the “Wear Green” initiative on Friday 13 March. Colleagues across Lester Aldridge have joined in by wearing something green to show their support and help raise awareness.
The campaign encourages conversations around the experiences of people living with disability and brain injury, the importance of rehabilitation and access to early support, and the vital role of charities and community services. The initiative also supports fundraising for Gympanzees, a charity creating accessible play, exercise and therapy opportunities for children and young people with disabilities.
At Lester Aldridge, we provide an all-round service for individuals and families affected by cerebral palsy and brain injury. Our Personal Injury and Medical Negligence teams act for clients who have experienced life-changing injuries and understand the importance of early intervention. We work with nationally recognised medical experts, case managers and rehabilitation specialists to secure the best outcomes.
We also provide support with accessing government-funded care, as well as assistance with obtaining Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for children and young people who require additional educational support.
Our Court of Protection Team
Our growing Court of Protection team works closely with our injury specialists to offer long-term support for clients who lack mental capacity. The team undertakes a wide range of deputyship work, helping manage financial affairs and welfare matters for vulnerable individuals, including those who have received significant personal injury awards. Their expertise ensures that clients and families receive joined-up, compassionate support at every stage.
Thank you to everyone across the firm who took part in the Wear Green initiative and helped raise awareness of an important cause.
