Leading South Coast law firm Lester Aldridge is pleased to announce the promotion of Melia Hirst to Partner within the Restructuring and Insolvency team based in Southampton.

Melia rejoined Lester Aldridge as an Associate in 2015 having previously completed her training and qualification as a solicitor at the firm in 2006, then spending 8 years specialising in insolvency at another regional law practice.

Melia advises on insolvency and restructuring matters. She acts for insolvency practitioners, banks and financiers as well as directors of insolvent companies. She also handles solvent liquidations and group re-organisation.

Additionally, Melia has significant experience in sales and purchases of distressed businesses. She also advises landlords, suppliers and others contracting with an entity that becomes insolvent.
