The Solicitors Regulation Authority has closed down the practice of Sidney Torrance & Co and Albin Hunt & Stein of Hamilton House, Mabledon Place, London, WC1H 9BB/ 29 Weymouth Street, London, W1G 7DB. This happened on 13 October 2020. Lester Aldridge is helping the SRA with the closure.

The bank accounts of Sidney Torrance & Co and Albin Hunt & Stein have been frozen and all monies which were held in those accounts have been transferred to the Solicitors Regulation Authority and are being held on behalf of clients.
