At this event we will provide details on the BSA and how it is applying so far in practice in relation largely to existing structures and the management of affected properties.
Attend this eventSince the enactment of the Building Safety Act 2022 (“BSA”) and its many subsequent regulations the position regarding safety of buildings has been at the forefront of new developments and review of existing structures. The BSA extends much further than high rise buildings with cladding and it is important for those with any interest in flat blocks in particular to understand how the BSA applies to them.
At our Workshop, we will consider:
- Is the property within the remit of the BSA?
- Who is responsible for any BSA matters in relation to the building? (freeholder/landlord/developer/all?)
- What obligations do those with an interest face such as the certificate regime?
- What consequences arise from failure to follow the rules?
This is a breakfast meeting with tea/coffee and pastries hosted and presented by our Property Litigation team.
There is no cost for this event.
