Ashley joined Lester Aldridge in 2015. As a paralegal, he worked in the Real Estate Finance team, specialising in secured lending. He represented commercial borrowers and a wide range of lenders including major high street banks, challenger banks and bridging lenders.

As a trainee solicitor, Ashley completed seats in Real Estate, Litigation & Recoveries and Corporate before returning to the Litigation & Recoveries team in 2020 as a qualified solicitor.

Ashley has experience in commercial litigation, in particular the recovery of assets and debts arising from both regulated and unregulated lease and hire purchase agreements. Ashley is also able to advise on a wide range of enforcement actions. This includes advising clients on bankruptcy and winding up proceedings in both the County Courts and High Court.

Ashley also deals with possession proceedings. His background in Real Estate Finance gives him a unique perspective when dealing with these proceedings as he has dealt with all aspects of secured lending. Ashley has experience in dealing with the initial lending, perfecting security, enforcing charges and selling properties.
