Ben specialises in commercial litigation, insolvency and debt recovery. He provides clear and practical advice to help clients maximise and secure the recovery of outstanding debts.
Acting for a wide range of individual and commercial clients, Ben manages cases from pre-action stages through to court proceedings and enforcement. He is known for his strategic and commercially focused approach, cutting through legal complexity to deliver straightforward guidance on risk, prospects and cost-effective recovery routes.
- Managing high-volume and complex debt recovery matters from pre-action through to enforcement
- Conducting County Court litigation, including intermediate and multi-track claims
- Advising on and pursuing bankruptcy petitions and winding up petitions
- Coordinating enforcement strategies, including working with enforcement agents to secure recovery
- Acting for local authorities, insolvency practitioners, utility providers and corporate clients
- Providing clear advice on prospects of success, risk exposure and recovery strategy
- Managed a substantial caseload of intermediate and multi-track matters for local authorities, insolvency practitioners, utility providers and other commercial clients
- Successfully issued County Court proceedings, pursued bankruptcy petitions and coordinated enforcement action to maximise asset recovery
- Advised corporate clients on the merits of debt recovery from pre-action stage through to enforcement
Ben completed his Legal Practice Course (LLM) at Cardiff University before qualifying as a Solicitor in August 2022. He trained at a firm near Bristol and later developed his debt recovery and litigation expertise at well-established firms in London.
He joined Lester Aldridge in 2026 as a specialist litigation and recoveries lawyer.
Outside of work, Ben is an avid sports enthusiast with a particular passion for football and tennis. He is a qualified tennis coach and a keen runner who enjoys tracking fitness milestones. He also enjoys travelling and has spent time backpacking across Europe and coaching sport in the United States.
