Elisabetta qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and has been working in commercial litigation, marine insurance and shipping ever since.

She has a degree in law from the University of Bologna and she is also a qualified Italian ‘avvocato’.

She has an LLM in International transport and maritime law from London Metropolitan University.

She has gained valuable commercial experience working for marine insurance brokers and underwriters as well as in private practice.
