Emma is an experienced residential and commercial property solicitor with particular expertise in the healthcare sector, having spent two years working as an in-house commercial property solicitor for an NHS Foundation Trust.

Emma has extensive experience advising clients on transactional property matters, acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property and landlord and tenant matters.

Emma prides herself on her excellent organisational skills and methodical approach to legal challenges. She uses her understanding of some of the main challenges faced by healthcare providers to provide bespoke advice to her clients.

• Drafting and negotiating leases and licences on behalf of landlords and tenants, with a particular focus on the healthcare sector.
• Acting in the acquisition of short-term leases to facilitate temporary moves for healthcare sector teams before they move into larger, longer-term accommodation.
• Advising an NHS Trust on the timescales for terminating agreements for multiple premises, including enacting break clauses, to facilitate a future move to larger, purpose-built premises.
