Helen works within our Planning team, assisting and advising national and regional developers and various landowners. Her day-to-day work includes negotiating transfers and leases for electricity substations, cable and drainage easements and telecoms wayleaves. Helen’s attention to detail and ability to see the transaction within the broader context of the development contribute to her practical advice and ability to move transactions forward efficiently.

Helen has a wide range of experience in real estate transactions gained through her work with a variety of clients, from advising private landlords to collaborating on large portfolio transfers.  Before joining Lester Aldridge, she worked in the real estate team of a UK top 20 law firm.

• Negotiating infrastructure agreements for the delivery of commercial and residential developments.
• Working with the Planning and Development teams to advise a business whose land interests were under the threat of compulsory acquisition. Negotiating the acquisition of alternative land at speed, on more favourable terms than that available by compulsory acquisition.
