Huy has over 20 years of experience acting for lenders and borrowers in finance areas including syndicated facilities, real estate and project finance, acquisition finance, trade finance, Islamic finance and crypto finance.

Huy trained in the banking department of a magic circle firm and has spent time in private practice and working for major banks and financial institutions. He was also part of the working group that drafted the LMA template documentation for real estate finance.

Recent work

• Advising lenders and borrowers on various property finance transactions, ranging from £6m-100m+.
• Overseeing the LIBOR to SONIA transition of a company’s debt portfolio, including devising the portfolio-wide approach, advising the board, and negotiating with all parties.
