Josh specialises in clinical negligence and serious injury claims, with particular experience in birth injury litigation and the quantification of complex, high-value claims.
He has assisted on cases involving catastrophic injuries, including brain injury and stroke claims, helping clients and their families secure compensation to support lifelong care, rehabilitation, accommodation and financial needs.
Josh combines a detailed understanding of complex medical evidence with practical litigation experience, enabling him to support clients through challenging claims and work towards the best possible outcome for them.
His background in the court service has given him valuable insight into the legal process, which complements his work on complex clinical negligence and serious injury cases.
- Assisted with the successful quantification of a complex stroke injury claim, helping secure a settlement of approximately £4 million.
- Assisting on a complex cross-border birth injury claim involving the valuation of significant future care, therapy, accommodation and financial losses, working alongside specialist actuarial and economic experts.
- Supporting the quantification of a number of high-value birth injury claims involving substantial future care and accommodation needs.
- Worked on a range of complex clinical negligence claims, including birth injury and brain injury cases, several of which resulted in six and seven-figure settlements.
- Assisted with preparations for Round Table Settlement Meetings and trial proceedings in complex birth injury and brain injury claims.
Josh joined Lester Aldridge in April 2022 as a Paralegal, working on a range of complex clinical negligence claims. He subsequently undertook a Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship with the firm, qualifying as a Solicitor in 2026 and joining the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team.
Prior to joining Lester Aldridge, Josh worked as an Administrative Officer and Court Clerk with HM Courts & Tribunals Service at Reading County and Family Court. This experience provided him with valuable insight into court processes and the progression of cases through the legal system.
Josh also holds a Master’s degree in Medical Law, which complements his work on complex clinical negligence matters.
Outside work, Josh enjoys playing five-a-side football and is a keen dog lover.
