Katherine specialises in the administration of both UK-based and international estates, acting for clients across the UK and globally.

Katherine supports the administration of UK estates where the deceased was based overseas. This includes extracting English grants of representation to enable the effective management and transfer of UK assets on behalf of overseas executors. Drawing on her background in both commercial and residential property law, she is well-placed to assist with estate matters involving UK property, acting for both corporate and individual clients.

With offshore investments becoming increasingly common, Katherine regularly advises on the administration of estates with international elements, particularly those involving assets in the Channel Islands and North America, where a Medallion Signature Guarantee is required. She has also developed the knowledge and skills to assist with escheated assets across various North American states.

She is passionate about the niche area of international estates and maintains a client-focused approach to deliver clear, practical legal advice while supporting clients through the bereavement process.

Katherine joined Lester Aldridge in June 2021 as a paralegal and later commenced her training contract in March 2024. She has since gained experience across several departments, including Real Estate Finance, Residential Property, and International Private Client.

She holds a First Class Honours in the Legal Practice Course from the University of Law, which she studied part-time while working. Prior to this, she earned a degree in Criminology from Oxford Brookes University and completed a Graduate Diploma in Law at Bournemouth University.
