Lia advises clients on a broad range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, director and shareholder issues, fraud, and insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings. She has experience handling complex litigation, such as issuing High Court proceedings, cross-border enforcement, statutory demands, and winding-up petitions. Lia also supports clients in negotiating settlements outside of formal court processes.

She takes a pragmatic, commercially focused approach and is committed to helping clients resolve disputes in a way that protects their business interests. Lia particularly enjoys working on cases involving strategic complexity and reputational risk, where tailored solutions are essential.

Lia qualified as a solicitor in 2025, having trained in dispute resolution, corporate, employment and real estate.

• Acted for a luxury wine and spirits merchant in pursuing a multi-million pound claim against a former director for fraudulent misappropriation of assets. Successfully obtained a worldwide freezing injunction.
• Advised a property investment company in relation to bankruptcy proceedings initiated against the principal shareholders of a property management company.
• Advised a property company on a Part 8 claim for restoration to the Companies House register.
• Advised a recruitment agency in relation to a debt claim against an automotive provider.
