Minaz advises on a wide range of commercial property matters, with particular expertise in development work. Her experience includes:

• Development – guiding developers through strategic site acquisitions and negotiating conditional contracts.
• Options – advising on option agreements, including exercising and extending options.
• Social Housing – acting for affordable housing providers on portfolio purchases and shared ownership transactions.
• Landlord and Tenant – supporting landlords and tenants with lease negotiations, assignments and consents for alterations.
• Banking, Finance and Secured Lending – advising lenders on refinance deals and assisting borrowers in securing finance for property portfolios.
• Corporate Support – working alongside corporate teams on property aspects of transactions, including lease reviews, surrenders and licences.

Minaz takes a commercial, solution-focused approach and prioritises client experience. She works collaboratively with all parties to overcome challenges and progress transactions efficiently, building strong relationships along the way.

Minaz trained with a large regional firm in Southampton and qualified into their commercial property team in April 2022. She later joined a Legal 500 firm in Dorset, where she specialised in residential development.
