Philippa specialises in supporting vulnerable individuals who lack the mental capacity to manage their own property and financial affairs. She advises on a wide range of deputyship matters, including Court-appointed panel deputyship cases, personal injury deputyships, statutory wills, property transactions and complex Court of Protection applications.
Philippa works closely with families, case managers, local authorities and other professionals to ensure that vulnerable individuals receive the support they need and that matters requiring court intervention are handled efficiently and sensitively. She has extensive experience of complex property and affairs matters, including high-net-worth cases, cross-border issues, contentious trusts and possession proceedings.
In addition, Philippa advises on health and welfare matters and Lasting Powers of Attorney, helping clients and families navigate often complex and emotional decisions. She is passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for vulnerable people and improving their quality of life through a practical, collaborative approach.

Philippa qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and has specialised in Court of Protection and family law throughout her career. Before joining Lester Aldridge as a Senior Associate in 2024, she spent over a decade at a leading London law firm, advising on a broad range of Court of Protection, family and vulnerable client matters.
Prior to qualifying, Philippa worked as a senior paralegal in catastrophic personal injury and divorce law, experience which continues to inform her approach to complex deputyship and personal injury cases.
Philippa speaks French, Russian and Spanish.
