Ruth qualified in London and gained experience in dealing with national and international matters and capital markets (AIM) work. She then relocated to Bournemouth to specialise in corporate and commercial law.
She advises national and international clients on commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and advising on data protection and consumer law.
Ruth acts for a range of corporate clients, helping them to overcome difficult legal issues and to achieve their commercial aims. Ruth assists in corporate transactional matters and gives advice on general company and commercial law matters, partnership law and LLPs.
In 2016 Ruth undertook a 7-month secondment to Abbey Life Assurance Company Limited. She has also spent time with a commercial law firm in Moscow, Russia and speaks a good level of Russian.

- Drafting terms and conditions for a wide range of businesses dealing with both business and consumer customers, including a large leisure provider.
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including services agreements, agency agreements, confidentiality agreements, software development and licensing agreements and data protection documentation for clients in a variety of industries.
- Assisting with various corporate transactions.
