Stephanie joined the International Private Client team at Lester Aldridge in April 2022, bringing a wealth of knowledge in offshore succession matters. She specialises in wills and estates where there is an international focus.

Stephanie has extensive experience in advising on the laws of succession and capacity in the Channel Islands, having practiced in both the Bailiwick of Guernsey and Jersey.  Working in leading offshore law firms enabled her to advise a wide range of clients worldwide on the laws governing succession and capacity in the Channel Islands.

For cross-border estates including the UK, Stephanie has a particular interest in advising on the law of domicile and UK inheritance tax for non-domiciled clients.

On qualification in England as a solicitor in 2010, Stephanie returned to Guernsey where she practiced in the Private Client team at a leading offshore law firm, qualifying further as a Guernsey Advocate in 2013 (currently non-practicing).  This allowed her to strengthen her offshore knowledge and cemented her reputation as an expert in the private client field.

Stephanie then took on a role as the Probate Registrar at the Royal Court of Jersey, which gave her a unique insight and knowledge of the Jersey laws of inheritance and associated probate procedures.
