Giuseppe joined LA as a Senior Associate in May 2022, having established himself as a well-respected and renowned family law solicitor in the area after being admitted as a solicitor in 2013. Giuseppe has been recognised for his achievements in the Legal 500 guide. He has experience in all areas of family law, including complex children matters, divorce, and financial cases. He also has experience with the separation of unmarried couples and injunctive proceedings such as non-molestation orders and occupation orders, as well as cases under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 and Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989.

Case Examples

• Successfully acted for a father seeking a 50/50 equal shared care arrangement. The complication with this case was that the eldest child would turn 16 prior to any final order/ hearing. It was important for the order to cover this child as she had neurodiversity challenges. I personally represented the father at the final hearing, where we secured a joint ‘lives with’ order (50/50) child arrangements order which included the 16-year-old despite her age.
• Successfully defended a non-molestation order and occupation order application. I personally represented the client in court and was able to obtain cross-undertakings, and my client was able to remain living in the family home, which was in the best interest of the child.
• I acted for a client who could not sell his property as his estranged wife had registered a Notice of home rights (HR1) on the property Land Registry title despite it not being their family home. I successfully argued that this notice was incorrectly registered and against the spirit and nature of what such notice is there to achieve if used correctly. I negotiated for the notice to be removed quickly without needing to resort to a court application, thereby enabling my client to proceed with his property sale.
• Successfully negotiated the terms of a cohabitation agreement for my client, who was moving into her partner’s home and keeping her own property as a rental. We negotiated fair and proportionate changes to the proposed terms without causing any tension in the relationship.
