Lester Aldridge would like to extend a fond farewell to Martin Coward, who has retired after 36 years, 31 as a partner at the law firm.

Martin joined LA’s predecessor firm Mooring Aldridge and Haydon as a 26-year-old assistant solicitor in August 1986, before the merger with Lester and Russell in 1988.

Martin was an experienced property lawyer who tackled everything from shop leaseholds to extensive new factory build projects, residential development projects, farms and all types of residential work from ex-local authority housing stock to stately home projects. He acted for many of his clients for 25, 30 and 35 years, and in many cases went on to work for the next generation too.

His clients will continue to receive this high-quality, personal service from Real Estate Partners Suki Samra and Adam Corcoran, both based at the Bournemouth office, and their teams.

Suki, who is also Head of Real Estate Bournemouth and Chair of Lester Aldridge, commented: “I would like to thank Martin for his loyalty to his clients and this firm. I wish Martin a long and well-deserved retirement.”
